Washington Tourism Means a Jacob Williams Winery Stop
When you plan your Washington tourism experience one of the things that you should take into consideration is a visit to the Jacob Williams Winery outside of Lyle. This area has a number of wineries that will enable you to see some of the beautiful scenery in the Columbia River Gorge area and taste some of the wonderful Washington wines. If you didn't know that Washington produced great wine you are in for a great treat.
Most of the wineries in the area are smaller ones that produce top level wines with great personal attention. The Jacob Williams Winery produces under 2000 cases of wine a year. They work hard to provide you with the best wines available because the winery is named after the owners sons. He certainly wants the best going out of a winery with it being named for them!
The tasting room for the winery is downtown Lyle. It is run by the owner's father and open from Friday through Sunday from Noon to 5 pm from April through mid-December. Come in and taste the wines of this vineyard and you will be sure to want to come back often. You will want to come not only for the wine but to see more of the beautiful area of Washington.
