Washington Tourism Includes Domaine Pouillon Winery
Washington Tourism has some twists and turns that not too many other states offer. You can see the beauty of the ocean or the views afforded by the Columbia River. You can find the big cities or the small, unique and wonderful communities that offer such delightful stops as the Domaine Pouillon Winery outside of Lyle. Once you visit the wineries in the area you will want to spend more than just a short time touring all of them with Domaine Pouillon being one of your favorite stops.
The winery is owned by Alexsis and Juliet Pouillon. Each comes to the wine business with a love of nature and the growing of great grapes, perfect for making great wine. Alexsis got his start in the industry in California while Juliet got her interest peeked when she dated Alexsis. They have different backgrounds that will keep you interested in the discussion while you sit in the tasting room and sip some of the best wine you will ever taste. Ask Juliet about dolphin training, bet you've not visited with someone that has actually done that before.
This small, family-owned and operated winery practices traditional artisan winemaking techniques. They allow the wine to age in the cellar before bottling and labeling each bottle by hand. They firmly believe that by using the time honored system of winemaking they are providing you with truly fines wine that is worth the wait. The grapes are picked by hand in small lots when they are just right! Come and enjoy the experience of this delightful winery.
