Do You Think Russell Hobbs Coffee Maker Or Toddy Is Better?
If I would to choose, my choice would definitely be the toddy coffee maker. I know some of you reading this article might be shocked, but that is my personal choice.
Toddy coffee maker unlike conventional brewers like Russell Hobbs or dualit, do not need any procedures or steps to brew the coffee. All you need to do is to add in the coffee powder, add in the water, leave it there for more than 12 hours and voila, you can to drink a coffee that is comparable if not better than those brewed by machines.
The easy operation of the toddy coffee maker is the main reason why I chose it, but I also love the taste of the coffee produced by it. It is not as intense as an espresso, but it is smoother than the usual drip filter coffee, overall I find the coffee tasty and palatable.
Let's say you are using a russell hobbs coffee brewer, and then it would be the usual operation of brewing a pot of coffee every time you want some coffee. The plus point about Russell Hobbs of course is its thermal decanter which can allow you to drink for at least a day. But even then I consider it a chore to be brewing daily.
Toddy coffee maker has capacity to last me for an entire week. The already very easy procedure of preparing toddy cold coffee that can last me for a week makes this whole thing even more attractive!
The cold coffee can be kept for up to a week, which means every time you want to have some coffee, or you need to do is pour some toddy concentrate, then add in hot or cold water depending if you want to drink a hot or cold coffee.
But, if you are going to drink an espresso, and you are using say a dualit coffee maker, then no matter how simple the steps are, it would definitely be more complicated than a toddy coffee maker.
The truth is, there is only one brewer that can declare it to be easier to use than a toddy coffee maker, and that would be the single serve coffee maker. Other than that, regardless if it is a programmable, drip filter or espresso maker, they all have more sophisticated procedures.
Ease of use is what attracted me to the toddy coffee maker. Now, if I would to compare it with a single serve coffee maker, then the reason that makes me stay with the toddy would be the price issue.
Toddy coffee maker is marketed at very much lower price tier than any single serve coffee maker.
To me, toddy coffee maker is a brewer that affords me a very easy operation, no fuss maintenance and of course I love the coffee that comes from it. Pricing wise, it is also something which I am able to afford.
