Face it. When anyone tells you about salad, the very first thing that pops into your thoughts would be lettuce. Though lettuce is the first ingredient for most salads, it 's not a requirement for some salad recipes. Salads can be made of only about any ingredient you can think about and if you'd like to change things up a bit, fruit might be the easiest way to do it.
Obviously, fruit salads are typically composed of, well, fruits. Some lettuce can be added to the salad if you needed to, but still, the first part of the meal would be fruit. Fruits, like vegetables, come in various types and permutations too. Now, just thinking of many ways you can use those fruits in pleasant salads is satisfactory to make your mouth water, right? Like most salads, standard fruit salads are also simply prepared. Much of the time, you simply buy cans of fruit cocktail in the greengrocers, drain them of water, and dump the contents into the salad bowl.
