Crock Pot Cooking = More Time = Family Time
I grew up in a household where eating together was cherished. Family conversations were shared most over plates of good foods. Our dining room had been privy to stories, debates and decision-makings.
My mom has always been the family's source of food. Without her, we wouldn't have had decent meals or tasty snacks shared with friends. Back then (not too long ago!), her cooking time meant she wouldn't be anywhere but in the kitchen. So news had to be saved for later when we were all gathered for our meal.
Nowadays, most mothers benefit from multi-tasking just like their working husbands. Many utilize crock pot cooking for the family to spare time hence, spend it meaningfully.
Even my mom uses crock pots now especially when my siblings and I are visiting. It's nice that we can all sit and talk, drink some aperitif, while waiting enjoyably for our foods to cook.
